Violet Ann "Boots" Kennedy Liljedahl passed away peacefully at the age of 92 in her home in Diamondhead, MS on Thurs, December 2, 2021.
Boots Liljedahl was born and reared in New Orleans, ,LA, attended Tulane University School of Nursing and was a force to be reckoned with in the Lakefront Real Estate Market for a few decades.
Boots was preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Jean Liljedahl, as well as her first husband, Raymond Leroy Liljedahl and her second husband, Max Deaton.
She is survived by three children, Linda Anne Liljedahl, Gary Ray Liljedahl, and Dale Patrick Liljedahl; four grandchildren, Paige Liljedahl, Allison Liljedahl, Lindsey Liljedahl, and CeCe McMahon; as well as two great-grandchildren, Riley Elise and Sierra Nicole. Plus Violet Ann received additional love, care & support from her daughter-in-law, Diane Liljedahl, many close family friends and health care providers, Dr. Frere Germillion, Dr. Michael Payment and his nurse, Danielle, Barbara Higgins, CFNP, the HOSPICE groups - too many to individually mention.
Visitation will be Monday, December 6, 2021 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, 110 S. Necaise Ave. Bay St. Louis, MS from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 1:00 pm. A private Entombment will be later in the week at Lakelawn Cemetery in New Orleans.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any charitable contributions to your local SPCA.
