Timothy James Kennedy

Timothy James Kennedy, 44, of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, in Metairie, Louisiana.

Timothy was a devoted member and song leader at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. He was known for his deep love for his family and faith. Timothy cherished his wife, children and extended family, always making them a priority in his life. Additionally, Timothy was a talented local artist, sharing his creativity with those around him.

Timothy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bobby Donald Kennedy and Marlene Kennedy; maternal grandparents, Peter Jesus Garcia and Theresa Garcia Barnes; two uncles, James Walter Kennedy and Gregory C. Garcia; nephew, Atlas Royal Taylor; and step-father, Kerry Don Hamilton.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Gabrielle Duxworth; two sons, Johnathan Brice Kennedy (Courtney) and Tristen James Kennedy; four daughters, Madison Elise Kennedy (Ashton), Isabella Lynn Kennedy, Stormie Marie Gill, and Sevana Rayne Gill; father, Bobby W. Kennedy; mother, Christina Lea Hamilton; two sisters, Shelley D. Taylor (Mark) and Tiffany N. Kennedy (Danielle); nephew, Texas Nolan Taylor; niece, McKenzie Danielle Nesom; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m., followed by a prayer service at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
