Tilson "Earl" Ainsworth, Sr., 79, of Kiln, MS, passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
Earl was born on January 5, 1945. He attended St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church. Earl joined the U.S. Army in 1967 and was a proud patriot. He loved art, traveling, antique collecting, and loved politics.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Clair Ainsworth; granddaughter, Breanna Ainsworth Halley; parents, Fred and Stella Ainsworth; sisters, Melody Monaco, Sadie Smith, Sandra Lingo, Ermia Knight, and Linda Chambers; and brothers, Fred Rae Ainsworth and Ernie Ainsworth.
He is survived by three sons, Tilson "Earl" (Angela) Ainsworth, Jr., Tracy (Greta) Ainsworth, and Kelly (Kim) Ainsworth; grandchildren, Katrina (Brian) Kerlin, Justin (Hayley) Ainsworth, Morgan Ainsworth, Macey Ainsworth, Paytin Ainsworth, and Zachary Halley; great-grandchildren, Parker Crowe, Harper Ainsworth, Kamryn Kerlin, and Hadley Ainsworth; and siblings, Roy (Lucinda) Ainsworth and Brenda Paugh.
Services will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church in Perkinston, MS. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Alphonse Malley Cemetery in Kiln, MS.
