Steven Ray Muirhead

Steven Ray Muirhead "Steve", age 57, of Bay St. Louis, was born on May 2nd, 1969 in Louisiana, and passed away on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026 in Bay St. Louis.

Steve was a long time resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and attended Bay High School. He was always a hard worker providing for his family. He was a loving father, son, spouse, and a friend to so many. He would give you the shirt off his back and still offer any other help he could provide. He told the best jokes and thrived with his friends and family, fishing, hunting, football, and cooking with and for his family. He would always call with some new idea or recipe he wanted to try. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Steve is preceded in death by his mother Ruby Bowers, sibling Robert "Bobby" Muirhead, and his wife Christa Anne Muirhead.

Survivors include his daughter; Kirsten Muirhead; spouse Kristie Karl, and daughters Kaylee Karl, MaryKay Karl, Maleigha McElveen, and Sara Eliza Beth; his sister Aline Rider, as well as grandchildren Raelynn Elizabeth Hall, Alfred Hall Jr., Amelia Legendre, Xander Lee Ray McElveen, Adonis Bleu Newkirk, Remilynn Peterson, and Wyatt Joseph Ray.

A viewing service where you may say your goodbyes and pay respect will be held at Edmund Fahey on Main Street in Bay St. Louis, Ms.; Wednesday September 9th, 2026 from 6pm-8pm. Any donations are greatly appreciated and can go directly to the funeral home.
