Steve Joseph Prestenbach, Jr.

Steve J. Prestenbach, Jr., 86, of Natchez, MS passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 in Diamondhead, MS.

He was of Pentecostal faith and a member of the Lions club.

Steve enjoyed watching the Saints, Elvis Presley, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, fishing, cooking, telling stories, and making people laugh.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Darlene J. Wilson, and Tanya R. Prestenbach; parents, Steve J. Prestenbach, Sr. and Aline Chaisson Prestenbach; former wife, Bootsy Prestenbach; life long friend, Billy Norred and numerous brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wonderful and loving wife, Sharon Gray Brown Prestenbach; daughter, Mitzi A. Geerken; grandchildren, Steven Ditta, Rodney McGoey, Jr. (Jennie), Shane McGoey, Lacey Banks (JT), and Sierra Sizemore (Jimmy); great-grandchildren, Rodney McGoey III, Mindy Smith, Shane McGoey, Jr., Keagan McGoey, Juliana Compton, Rynlee Banks, Britlynn McGoey, and Mirabella Compton; sister, Laura Alexie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 12, 2024 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
