Stephen "Steve" Mark Koppman, 88, of Diamondhead, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
Steve was born on May 18, 1938, in New York, NY, to Leo and Marjorie Koppman. He was their firstborn child and they lived in Brooklyn, NY until the family moved to Dallas, TX. He attended the Wharton School of Business in Pennsylvania and excelled in sales throughout his lifetime. He is the founder of Grand River Clothing Company. His favorite hobby was BOATS. He lived on his boat in New Orleans for many years and loved it. Boating in Lake Ponchatrain were some of his fondest memories.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Marjorie Koppman. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Kim Koppman; two daughters, Deborah Koppman Bernos (Milton) and Julie Koppman (Brian Bain); grandson, Joseph "J.K." Koppman Bain; brother, Edward Koppman; His stepchildren are Matthew Adams, Cheri Donaldson Grant and his five-year-old Shepherd, Salty.
Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln Delisle Rd., Pass Christian, MS, will be holding services on Thursday, September 24, 2026, visitation at 2:00 p.m., and funeral service at 3:00 p.m.
