Shannon Brett Smith

Shannon Brett Smith, 54, of Sellers, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

Shannon was born on July 5, 1969 to Don Smith and Mary Christine Shaw. He loved fishing, hunting, running dogs, and Alabama football. Shannon really enjoyed boiling seafood with family and friends. He was a loving dad, son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be sadly missed by many.

 Shannon was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Christine Shavers, and his brother, Christopher Smith.

 He is survived by two sons, Spencer Smith (Joleen) of Sellers and Seth Smith (Hannah) of Kiln; two grandchildren, Brylie Smith and Palmer Smith (coming soon); father, Don Smith of Sellers; brother, Kaleb Shavers of Perkinston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

 Services will take place on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Crane Creek Baptist Church in Perkinston, Mississippi. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. and Funeral at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Crane Creek Cemetery.
