Russell Dean Carmichael

Russell Dean Carmichael, age 93, of Bay Saint Louis, MS passed away on Monday, October 5, 2026. Mr. Carmichael moved from Meridian, MS eight year ago with his wife, Molly to live next to his sone in Bay Saint Louis.

Mr. Carmichael is preceded in death by his parents, Allen Frank Carmichael and Myrtle Booker Carmichael; Brother, Edward Slay; Sister, Dorothy Carmichael Pierce; and nephew, Gale Mitchell.

Survivors include his loving wife, Molly Sue Manley Carmichael and son, Randall Dean Carmichael. Survivors also include three nieces; Barbara Anderson, Mobile, AL, Nadine Carmichael, Ocean Springs, MS, and Cynthia Gust, Ocala, FL, two nephews; Douglas Slay; Citronelle, AL and Tony Slay, Mobile, AL. Additional nephews include: Jason Ivey, Nashville, TN; Jacob Ivey and wife Audrey and their children, Paisley Ivey and Asher Ivey. He is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
