Ronnie Rodgers, 72, of Kiln, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024.
Ronnie was born on December 17, 1951 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. After graduating High School, he served in the U.S. Army. After discharge from the Army, he worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Laborers' International Union of North America.
Ronnie was an avid sportsman and loved fishing and shooting. He also loved barbequing, listening to music, and especially hanging out with friends, family, and anyone interested. No one was a stranger to Ronnie.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his daughter, Jamie Williams; parents, Leslie and Dorothy Rodgers; and sister, Debbie Reeves.
He is survived by his wife, Angela Rodgers; three children, Darrell (Leslie) Dauzat, Natasha Dauzat, and Nannette Dauzat; eleven grandchildren, Brianna, Bubba, Dustin, Reagan, Conner, Eli, Dylan, Veronica, Gunner, Wyatt, and Hudson; ten great-grandchildren, Ava, Kiyler, Easton, Raleigh, Sophia, Violet, Magnolia, Josette, Elijah, and Elayna; brother, James "Eddie" Rodgers; and ex-wife and good friend, Carolyn Rodgers.
The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date.
