A Celebration of Ronald Wilson’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Jacob’s Well Baptist Church in Pass Christian, Mississippi. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the man who gave so much of himself to the people he loved.
Ronald G Wilson, affectionately known as Ronnie to his family and friends, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at the age of 77.
He was born on January 18, 1949 in Meridian, MS to James and Edna Wilson.
He worked for Southern Pipe and Supply and Noland Company in purchasing and sales. After a brief retirement, he worked for Mississippi Christian University. When he officially retired, he moved to the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Ron was married to his loving wife, Pamela, for 53 years and together they built a family. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
He worked hard, loved deeply, and found his greatest joy in spending time with the people he loved most. His family was his pride and joy, and he showed his love through his actions, his generosity, and the countless memories he created with them.
Ron was a man who never met a stranger. His friendly nature, warm personality, and love for entertaining made people feel welcome wherever he went. He enjoyed bringing people together, sharing good food, and making memories around the table. Whether he was cooking, grilling, or making his homemade pickles, he had a special way of turning ordinary moments into something memorable. His home and his company were places where family and friends could gather, laugh, and enjoy one another.
When he wasn't spending time with family and friends, he could often be found fishing or watching his cherished Alabama football. These were some of the simple pleasures that brought him happiness and gave those around him even more reasons to share in his joy.
One of his greatest pleasures was watching his grandchildren participate in their many activities. He took pride in being there for them, cheering them on, and sharing in their accomplishments and special moments. The love he had for his grandchildren was immeasurable, and the memories they made together will be treasured for years to come.
As a husband, he shared a love that will always be cherished. As a father, he provided an example of hard work, dedication, and commitment to family. As a grandfather, he gave his grandchildren a special kind of love that they will carry in their hearts throughout their lives.
His passing leaves an emptiness that words cannot fully express. There will be moments when his family longs to hear his voice, share a meal he prepared, watch a football game with him, or simply sit together and enjoy his company. Even the little things he loved to do will become treasured memories of a man whose presence made life richer for those around him.
Though he may no longer be physically present, his legacy will live on through the family he loved, the friendships he built, the traditions he created, and the countless lives he touched. His love, laughter, generosity, and welcoming spirit will never be forgotten.
He was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed. His family will forever hold close the memories, the laughter, the lessons, and the love he gave so freely.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela, daughters Laura Leonard (Kenneth), Jennifer Wilson, grandsons, Kyle and Cooper Leonard, and his precious pets Trixie, Milo, Eli and Felix.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Edna Wilson, sister and brother-in-law Joe Wade and Joyce Limerick and brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Mary Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to the American Lung Association.
