Robert Lee Cassell, 63, passed away on October 14, 2026.

Robert was a hardworking, loyal, loving, funny, and selfless man who meant so much to the people fortunate enough to know him. He was someone who cared deeply for those he loved, and his presence brought laughter, love, and meaningful memories to the lives of those around him.

Robert found joy in the simple things in life, such as fishing, spending time with family, and making memories with friends. He had a deep love for his hometown of Cass, West Virginia. His bond with Cass and the memories he made there will always hold a special place in his heart.

Above all, Robert will be remembered for his loving heart, his sense of humor, and his willingness to put others before himself. His loyalty and kindness left a lasting impression, and the memories he created with those closest to him will continue to be treasured for years to come.

Robert leaves behind his two children, Robert Cassell and Courtney (Patrick) Odom, and his beloved grandchildren, Hudson and Elliana. He is also survived by his siblings, David (Lori) Cassell, Patricia Sprouse, and Diana Broussard as well as his longtime partner, Kimberly Finley.

Though his passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will live on through the family he cherished, the friendships he built, his beloved hometown of Cass, and the countless moments that will never be forgotten.
