Robert E. Cagle

Robert E. Cagle, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend, known for his kind heart, sharp mind, and unwavering faith. A brilliant man with a wealth of knowledge, Robert had a keen intellect that left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Hedy Cagle; his mother, Edmee’ Cagle; and his brother, Eugene Cagle.

He is survived by his son, Harry Cagle; his brother, Arthur Cagle (Francis); his grandchildren, Ginger Cagle Dastugue, Robert Cagle (Carla), and Ashley Ewing (Matt); eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Schatzi.

He was a faithful member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and lived a life guided by love, devotion, and integrity.

His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln-Delisle Rd., Pass Christian, MS on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow.
