It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Rebecca H Ladner, remembered by many as Becky and Bubby. Rebecca was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a cherished great-grandmother, who passed away peacefully on 8/2/25 at the age of 70.
Rebecca was the very embodiment of love and warmth. From the moment we were born, to her last breath, her love remained constant, unwavering, and boundless. To know Rebecca was to love her. Though she is no longer here with us physically, her love will always remain a part of us. She taught us everything in life. Her love lives on in each of us she touched. We are grateful for every moment shared, and she will forever remain in our hearts.
Born on October 28, 1954, in Hattiesburg, MS, Rebecca was a woman of warmth, kindness, and quiet strength. She married the love of her life, Leo Ladner Jr., and together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and strong family values.
She was the proud mother of Ora Ladner, whom she raised with unwavering love and guidance. As a great-grandmother, her heart expanded even more. Her great grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she found great happiness in attending their events, sharing stories, and watching them grow.
She was preceded by her mother Margaret Hudson; her father Ora Wick Hudson; and her sister Roseann Brignac.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leo Ladner Jr; her daughter Ora Ladner; her granddaughters Rebecca Bice and Jasmine Necaise; and her great grandsons Cayden Bice & Rhyker Bice. She leaves behind extended family and dear friends who will miss her dearly.
