Rebecca Ann Henley

Rebecca “Becky” Ann Cospelich Henley, 83, of Bay St. Louis, MS, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 02, 2025.

Becky’s life was a beautiful reflection of her deep Christian faith, expressed through her warmth, compassion and generosity. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many, she had a gift for making people feel seen and valued - often through thoughtful text messages that arrived at just the right time. Family was Becky's greatest joy - she was the glue that held everyone close and was the family's greatest cheerleader, always embracing every opportunity to support those she loved.

Becky was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert Filmore Henley III; her father, Alfred Cospelich and her mother, Allie Cospelich.

She is survived by her sisters, Maxine Carver and Marion Mills; her daughters, Melissa Dearman and Melanie Humphries; her son, Robert Henley IV; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025 at First Baptist Church, 141 Main Street, Bay St. Louis, MS from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM with a Funeral Service at 2:30 PM. Interment to follow at Fayard Cemetery in Waveland, MS.
