Phillip Eugene Hux

Phillip "Phil" Hux, 73, of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

Phil taught us kindness and strength, and these lessons will survive him. Goodness and mercy followed him all the days of his life, and he will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. 

Phil was preceded in death by his wife, Joni Hux; brother, Steve Hux; and sisters, Sheila Myers, and Joyce Hurst.

He is survived by five sons, Phillip "Abel" Hux, Joshua Sky Hux, Michael Justin Hux, Jacob Daniel Hux, and Matthew Ray Hux; granddaughter, Mia Hux; two brothers, Charles Hux and George Hux; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
