Paul Richard Eyster, 64, of Diamondhead, MS passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in Diamondhead, MS.
Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Paul was a devoted family man and a cherished friend whose warmth and enthusiasm brightened every room he entered.
For the past 25 years, Paul dedicated himself as the manager of Helm Paint and Supply in Mandeville, Louisiana, where his hard work and kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Beyond his professional life, Paul found joy in the simple pleasures—whether it was playing golf, tennis, boating on tranquil waters, fishing, or sharing countless moments of laughter and love with his family and friends.
Known as the life of every gathering, Paul embraced each day with passion and a vibrant spirit. He was a loving husband to his wife Kelly for 36 wonderful years, a proud father to his daughters Hillary and Hannah, and a doting Pawpaw to six beloved grandchildren—Camille, Logan, Oakley, Halston, Leo, and Luke—with another precious grandchild (Sienna) expected in July. Together with Kelly, Paul fulfilled a dream by building their perfect home in Diamondhead, a haven where they planned to enjoy the beauty of the coast surrounded by those they loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren "Lee" Leon Eyster and Cornelia "Connie" Brooks, and by his sister-in-law Stephanie Harper Eyster.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Kelly; daughters Hillary Veillon (Terry) and Hannah Carpenter (Murphy); grandchildren Camille, Logan, Oakley, Halston, Leo and Luke; his brothers Warren Leon Eyster (Brenda) and Delbert John Eyster and numerous extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at The Ridgeway of Old Metairie from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., offering all who knew Paul the chance to honor a man who truly lived life to the fullest. Though Paul’s presence will be deeply missed, his spirit, kindness, and zest for life will forever inspire and remain in the hearts of those who were privileged to share in his remarkable journey.
