Pamela Mary Aiavolasiti, 70, of Waveland, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, surrounded by the loving presence of her family and dear friends. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Pamela’s life was a rich tapestry woven with dedication, compassion, and a deep love for those around her.
A proud graduate of Chattanooga State, she earned her associate’s degree in nursing and was honored as a member of the Sigma Theta International Honor Society of Nursing. Pamela’s nursing career started at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and she also worked at Hancock Medical Center in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. Her nurturing spirit extended through her work as a Disaster Nurse with the Red Cross and in various other roles – including draftsman at Bell South, horticulturist, and contributing to her family’s cherished Aiavolasiti Bakery in New Orleans.
Pamela’s heart was fullest when sharing simple joys: cheering on the Saints, cooking delightful meals, swimming, and spending time with her dog Rain. Above all, she treasured time spent with her sons, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. As the owner of Split Mik and a devout Catholic, Pamela devoted herself to her faith and generously served her church, embodying love and kindness in all she did.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George Aiavolasiti and Mary Ann Johnston, and her grandson, Andrew LaBrosse.
Pamela leaves behind a legacy of love carried forward by her two sons, Christopher and Jeremiah LaBrosse; her five cherished grandchildren, Benjamin Carney, Zoey LaBrosse, Elijah LaBrosse, Alexis LaBrosse, and Riley LaBrosse; her brother Peter Aiavolasiti; her sister Holly Caffarel; and her faithful companion, Rain, her four-year-old Labrador.
The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to caregivers Lisa Reboul, Dawn Scones, and Erica Schwartz for their compassionate support during this time.
St. Clare Catholic Church will be holding services on Thursday, March 26, 2026, with visitation at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Pamela Mary Aiavolasiti.
