Nellie Victoria Fitzhugh

Nellie Victoria Fitzhugh, 86, of Diamondhead, MS passed away, Tuesday, April 16, 2024 in Bay St. Louis, MS.

Nellie enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, who will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Fitzhugh; son, Horace Garcia, Jr.; daughter, Nellie Irene Dillard; father, Raymond Roberts; mother, Nona McCormick; sister, NonaMae Gonzaler; and two brothers, Ralph Nicklas and Len McCormick.

She is survived by her two daughters, Carol Anderson, and Grace Victoria Boyanton; numerous grandchildren, and great-granddaughter; brother, Harvey McCormick; sister, Isabelle McCormick; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a prayer service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Lakeshore Cemetery in Lakeshore, MS.
