Michelle Pate

Michelle Pate, 51, of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025.

Michelle was born on December 11, 1973 to Lenford "Len" and Anna Marshall. Michelle shone brightly as a symbol of hope and love, touching the lives of her Husband, three daughters and numerous others in our family with her extraordinary kindness and compassion. As she devotedly raised her three young daughters, she also took on the role of guardian angel for four young boys, providing them with a stable and loving environment that allowed them to grow and flourish. She was a mawmaw and auntie to many littles that loved and admired her daily while also accepting the role as mom to a granddaughter that would later be raised as one of her own. Her time on this earth was marked by love. Her passing will leave a void in the hearts of many family and friends. We ask that you remember her not for how her life ended but for how it was lived. Let her Memory be a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Lenford "Len" Marshall; uncle, William Drexler; aunt, Barbara Drexler; and mother-in-law, Ruth Schwartz.

She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Michael Pate; eight children, Erica "Nicole" Kosbab, Kelsey Pate, Brianna Pate, Nicholas Schwartz, Brandon Schwartz (Neisha), Justin Schwartz, Devin Schwartz, and Sierra Schwartz; ten grandchildren, Bryden, Anzilyn, Anella, Jameson, Charles, Levi, Blaine, Branson, Bella, and Kylee Jo; mother, Anna; sister, Patricia Crawford; and many more family and friends.

A celebration of life will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Pate Residence, 10141 Lower Bay Rd., Bay Saint Louis, MS 39520.
