Louise Morrison

With grateful hearts for a life well lived, we announce the passing of Louise Morrison, who entered into eternal rest on May 29, 2026, at the age of 91.

Louise was born on May 26, 1935, and spent her life devoted to her faith, her family, and the people she loved. She was a woman of remarkable strength, unwavering kindness, and a generous spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Arthur M. “PoP” Morrison. Their enduring love was an example of commitment and devotion, and it brings comfort to know they are together once again.

Louise is survived by her three daughters, Norma Morrison, Pamela Ragan, and Judy Cowand; her six grandchildren, Shane Pucheu, Travis Pucheu, Crystal McLaughlin, Tabitha Tingley, Monica Lowrance, and Heather Burleson; and her seven great-grandchildren, Zaydin Pucheu, Kylinn Pucheu, Axten Pucheu, Blake McLaughlin, Connley Williams, Emerson Tingley, and Johnathan Burleson.

To her family and countless friends, Louise was simply known as “Granny.” Her love reached far beyond bloodlines, and many who were not related to her still lovingly called her by that name. If she welcomed you into her home, checked on you, or cared about your well-being, you became part of her family.

Louise had a gift for making ordinary moments meaningful. She filled her home with laughter, stories, kindness, and love. She believed in hard work, honesty, compassion, and treating others with respect. She freely shared her wisdom, offered encouragement without hesitation, and had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcome, valued, and loved.

Her life was defined not by material things, but by the relationships she nurtured and the countless acts of kindness she extended to others. She lived with quiet strength, generous hospitality, and a servant’s heart, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.

Though our hearts are heavy with her absence, we find comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and has found eternal peace. Her love, wisdom, strength, and gentle spirit will continue to live on in the lives of the family and friends she so deeply touched.

Louise’s legacy is not measured only by the years she lived, but by the countless lives she influenced through her compassion, resilience, generosity, and unconditional love.

She will be dearly missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
