Linda Coursey Villere

Linda Coursey Villere, 77, of Waveland, Mississippi, passed away in her home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Linda retired after a long career with the City of Waveland, many of those years spent supervising the fishing pier. She was a member of Saint Clare Catholic Church. She loved her family, her pets, and visiting with friends over a pot of coffee.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Villere; mother, Ester Desilva Coursey; and brother, Billy Coursey.

She is survived by her brother, Charlie Coursey (Rosemary); sister, Shirley Dauenhauer (Eddie); four sister-in-laws, Alice Balsar (Lloyd), Girolima Manganello, Mary Ann Gambino, and Angela Gambino; multiple nieces and nephews; special angel, Katherine Lefevre; and devoted friends, Connie Hair, Pat Johnson, and Harold Gillum (Connie).

Services will take place on Monday, October 7, 2024 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Waveland Cemetery.
