Linda Sue Robertson, 73, of D’Iberville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025. She was born on July 12, 1952, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and throughout her life, she brought joy, laughter, and compassion to everyone who knew her.
Linda was the beloved wife of the late George Kenneth Robertson and a devoted mother to Lisa Ann Varnado (Rod Varnado) and Kimberly Mary Lord (Charlie Lord). She cherished her role as “MawMaw” to her seven grandchildren: Makayla Robertson, Alana Lambert, Ridge Varnado, Ezekiel Lord, Malachi Lord, Aiden Lord, and Jason Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wilfred and Martha Williams, siblings Patsy and David Williams, and is survived by her sister Amy Thomas (Scott Thomas) and her brother Allen Williams (Cheryl Williams) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Linda’s life’s work was caring for others, and she poured her heart into everyone she loved. She found great joy in spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren—as well as in ceramics, card games, and the fellowship of friends at the D’Iberville Senior Center. Those who knew Linda will remember her as funny, caring, and loving, with just the right amount of feist and stubbornness that made her unforgettable.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a memorial service on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, 110 S. Necaise Avenue, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
Linda’s love and laughter will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
