Lawson W. Stroud, born in Wewoka, Oklahoma on November 14, 1934, passed away Friday, February 9, 2024 in Kiln, MS.

Mr. Stroud served in the United States Air Force from 1955-1977 as a Master Seargent. He then went on to work in for the Civil Service and retired in 1994. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty Jean Payne; son, Broward Richard Stroud; grandson, Jeffrey Meyer; parents Richard Auzie Stroud and Burvel Hall Stroud; siblings, Barbara Stroud Brantley, Ronald Stroud, and Glen Stroud. 

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Jean Stroud; three children, Jerry A. Stroud (Kiln, MS), Joseph H Stroud (Colorado Springs, CO), and Glen E. Stroud (Plain City, Ohio); ten grandchildren and twelve great- grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held Friday, February 16 from 11-12pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home with a 12pm Service followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Gulfport, MS.
