Larry Eugene Moore

Larry Eugene Moore, 79, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away peacefully with family by his side.

Larry enjoyed Nascar racing, football (Pittsburg Steelers fan), western movies, going to the casinos, and he loved his Chevy pickup truck. He was a U.S. Army Vet (Vietnam), member of the Teamsters 436, and the American Legion 139. Larry will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn & Bertha Moore, maternal grandparents, Otto & Beatrice Weaver, and paternal grandparents, Watson & Bessie Moore.

He is survived by his two daughters, Kathy Moore Wheeler (Mitch) GA, Tracy Moore Fricke (Jason) BSL, MS, former spouse Martha Abbrecht, Waveland, MS, his brother, Donald Weaver, TX, his two sisters, Patty Moore Erwin, NV and Shirley Moore Jones, TX, and nieces and nephews. He was an amazing grandfather, aka ‘Paw’ to Katrina Young, Waveland, MS, Brandon Browning, GA, Jason Fricke (Maesyn) Bay St. Louis, MS, Kaylee

The family would like to thank the ICU-Dr. C, Dr. Libys, and the nursing staff at Gulfport Memorial Hospital for the care and compassion of their loved one. A special thank you to their Pastor, T. Manuel Johnson- Waveland United Methodist Chuch for the love, support, and prayers he provided them.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Waveland United Methodist Church: 314 Vacation Lane, Waveland, MS 39576 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a prayer service at 12:00 noon. Burial will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi at a later date.
