Joseph E. Kern

Joseph E. Kern, 87, of Diamondhead, MS, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 in Gulfport, MS. 

He was a cherished member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, the Rotary, and the Hancock County Historical Society. Joseph graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor's degree in Business. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, traveling, and reading.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janelle M. Kern, and his parents, Joseph and Marguerite Kern. 

He is survived by his two daughters, L'Ann Kern and Lisa K. O'Neal (Kenneth), as well as three grandchildren, Juliet O'Neal Strahl (Christian), Kenneth O'Neal III, and Grayson R. O'Neal.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to: Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 9062 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.

Visitation will take place on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS  from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a prayer service at 11:00 a.m.
