John "Doc" A. Bourgeois, 74, of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Doc was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to James and Virginia Bourgeois on November 7, 1951. He was an LSU Medical School graduate, and huge fan of LSU sports. Doc used his medical school education to serve the families of Waveland, MS as an Ophthalmologist until 2005. Doc loved his two sons along with their families, and he will be missed by his family and all those who knew him. 

Doc was preceded in death by his parent, James and Virginia. He is survived by his two sons, Reilly (Andee) and Briou (C.R.) Bougeois; three granddaughters, Emerson, Oakland, and Eleanor; grandson, Maddox; and sister, Anna Marie Brooks (Bill).

Services will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, Bay Saint Louis, MS, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Bay Saint Louis, MS.
