Joel Johnston Ladner, 74, formerly of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022 in Independence, MO.

Joel retired from AT&T after thirty years of service. She loved NASCAR, Carl Edwards and her two cats Celie & Tilly.

She was a wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents,

She is survived by her son, Herman Ray Ladner, Jr (Theresa); grandsons, Raymond Ladner (fiance' Maribel Regalado) and Andrew Ladner; brother, Raymond Johnston, Jr. (Mariea) and sons, Derek and Jared Johnston; niece, Amy Warner Schoonmaker (Sam); great niece, Chelsea Schoonmaker and great nephew, Hunter Schoonmaker.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2022 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a prayer service at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
