Jill Ina Larkin Booher

Jill Ina Larkin Booher, age 86, a resident of Diamondhead, Mississippi, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, surrounded by family and close friends. She was born January 26, 1940 in New Orleans, LA To Justine Mary Sauter Larkin and Thomas Patrick Joseph Larkin, who proceed her in death. She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Richard L. Booher.

Jill was beautiful inside and out. She was a loving Mama and Honey who adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children Marybeth Gex MacDowell (Douglas), Joseph Jeffrey Gex (Christine), Christine Gex Grapusa, Gerald Calhoun Gex, Jr, (Lisa), Jefferson Porter Forbess (Jill), and her stepchildren Monte Booher (Terri), Michelle House (Robert), Melanie Bowie and Matthew Booher (Erin). Her grandchildren, who called her Honey, include Will Arnold (Ashley), Clint Arnold, David Grapusa, Jr (Meagan), Stefan Arnold (DaKota), Cal Gex,III (Brooke), Sam Grapusa (Christina), Kaitlyn Gex, Joshua Forbess, Jacob Forbess, Juliana Forbess, Tyler Bowie, Ian Bowie, Keirsten Farms, Amber Kumar, Brooke Yoder, and May Booher. She also had seven great grandchildren, Declan Grapusa, Lillie Grapusa, Charlotte Grapusa, Jasper Gex, Ace Kumar, Scotland Farms and Ithell Farms

She is also survived by her only sibling, her sister Gayle Levens and her best friend of 50+ years Mary Cromeens as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jill was a pastor who loved sharing the word of the Lord and going on mission trips. She was a great cook. She loved family dinners, traveling, playing cards, shopping and movie nights.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A celebration of her life will be at a later time.
