Jerry Louis Ladner, of Lakeshore, Miss. passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, at the age of 86. He was born January 19, 1940, in Bay St Louis, Mississippi.
Jerry was a lifelong resident of Hancock County where he had many relatives and friends. He loved people, and he always championed the cause of the "little man" in politics. He enjoyed being involved in civic organizations and served as a member of the Hancock County Board of Supervisors. He had a strong love for his Community, State, Country and a proud supporter of President Trump. Jerry enjoyed spending time working on his property, raising his animals and visiting the local casinos.
Jerry was preceded in death by his first wife Merry Ellen Ladner of Waveland, second wife Judy Reed Ladner of Lakeshore, parents Forrest and Irma Ladner of Lakeshore, sister Lois Kelly of Pearlington, brother Kirk Ladner Sr. of Wiggins, and Guardian Son Jason LaFontaine of Picayune.
Jerry is survived by his son Jerry Daniels of Panama City Beach, Florida, brother Billy Ladner (Georgie) of Necaise Crossing, Mississippi and sister Gaynell Roberts (Carlton) of Denham Springs, Louisiana, God Son Rudy Ladner of Lakeshore, Mississippi, Guardian Parent to Andrew Lafontaine of Oxford and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family invites you to join them in a celebration of life at the Lakeshore Community Center on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. till 6:00 p.m.
