Janie Hinton Shows

Janie Hinton Shows, 71, of Pearlington, MS passed away Monday, June 19, 2023 in Slidell, LA.

Ms. Shows was a loving mother, companion, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who will be sadly missed by all.

Ms. Shows was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Sue Hinton and Sharon LaCoste.

She is survived by two sons, Heath Shows (Robin) of New Augusta, MS; and Phillip Shows (Desiree) of Kiln, MS; Companion, Jimmy Cummings of Pearlington, MS; four brothers, Eddie Smith, Jerry Hinton, Hubert Smith, and James Howard Smith; five grandchildren, Fallon Shows Pierce (Landon), Heather Shows Neal (Michael), Samantha Shows, Trevor Shows, and Jacob Shows; and three great-grandchildren, Grayson Matthew Shows, Brim Shows, and Kelsey LaShay Pierce. Visitation will be Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS from noon until 2:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at Waveland Cemetery in Waveland, MS.
