Gwen will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, and deep love for her family, especially her beloved daughter Katie Walters and her grandchildren Barrett, Beau and Annie Walters. She had a special gift for making others feel welcome and cared for, and she cherished the time spent with those she loved most. Gwen’s life was a reflection of faith, family, and quiet grace, and she will be forever loved and remembered by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made in Gwen’s memory to Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church (Bay St. Louis, MS), or to Asbury Hospice House (Hattiesburg, MS).

A celebration of Gwen’s life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor and remember her. Details will be shared with loved ones as they become available.
