Guy McCormick Wheeler, Sr.

Guy McCormick Wheeler, Sr., 71 of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 in Bay St. Louis.

Mr. Wheeler was a lifetime resident of Bay St. Louis and a man of Faith. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be sadly missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Wheeler; parents, McCormick & Nettye Jones Wheeler; brother, Brian Wheeler; and two sisters, Mavis Wheeler and Pam DuBose.

Survived by his son, Guy McCormick Wheeler, Jr. (Shelli) of Mt. Juliet, TN; three daughters, Carmen Wheeler Hall (Tommy) of Bay St. Louis, MS; Dominica Midence Pike (David) and Yvonne Wheeler Dear (Josh) both of Diamondhead, MS; nine grandchildren, Natasha Hall, Cheyenne Hall, Alexandria Turner, Johnathan Wheeler, Leigha Caminata, Trista Dear, Landon Dear, Gauge Hancock, Tyler Favre; brother, William Wheeler of Bay St. Louis, MS; sister, Faith Trevino of Alvin, TX; numerous nieces & nephews; and best friend, his dog Buster.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s at Rotten Bayou Cemetery.
