Glynda Mae Chiasson
Glynda Mae Chiasson, 78, of Picayune, Mississippi, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023.
Glynda was a substitute teacher and school bus driver for Hancock County Schools, which she loved. She also loved cooking and truly had a servant's heart, often taking care of elderly and anyone in need. Her door was always open to help.
Glynda was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Chiasson, Sr.; youngest son, Rene Chiasson; parents, Woodrow McGehee and Mae "Anmaw" Knoblock; brother, Billy Wayne McGehee; and nephew, Billy McGehee.
She is survived by her son, Norris Chiasson, Jr.; grandchildren, Sabrina Penton, Syera Wichers (Adam), Caleb Chiasson, and Cameron Chiasson; great-grandchildren, Karlos Duvall, Jayden Penton, Hunter Penton, and Olivia Wichers; siblings, Woodrow McGehee, Jr., Colleen Lagasse, Voncelle Zeringue (Malcom), Kenneth Mitchell (Robin); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at a later date.
