Gloria "Doe Doe" Noto Cook

Gloria “Doe Doe” Noto Cook, 92, of Waveland, MS, went peacefully surrounded by family and friends Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

She was a long-time member of St. Clare Catholic Church and enjoyed cooking, sewing, dancing, and spending time with family and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward J. Cook, Sr; parents, Zona Yarborough Noto and Peter Joseph Noto; brothers, Henry Joseph Noto, and Peter Joseph Noto, Jr; sisters, Ruth Noto Herron, Shirley Noto Corr, and Arthemese Noto Pope.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra LaFontaine (Jimmy), Rhonda Aubert (Keith); son, Edward J. Cook Jr; grandchildren: Jimmy LaFontaine (Rhonda), Shane LaFontaine (Raquel), Cory LaFontaine (Christina), Michelle Chiasson (Corey), Brad Aubert, Craig LaFontaine (Megan), Edward J. Cook, III (Kathy), Justin Cook (Taylor) and Trevor Cook, Rylie Cook; great grandchildren: Jamie Lafontaine (Annie), Jessica Sullivan (Phillip), Dustin LaFontaine (Katelyn), Braxton LaFontaine (Katie), Dexter Childs, Tyler Childs, Blake Lafontaine, Tyler Chiasson (Samara), Jordan Chiasson (Darian), Kaitlyn Chiasson, Kayla LaFontaine, McKenna LaFontaine, Kelsey LaFontaine, Mason Aubert, Kannon Cook, Griffin Aubert, Laine Cook, Eddie Cook, IV, Kambreigh Cook, Kaij Cook, and Kastin Cook; 13 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00pm Monday, December 4, 2023, at St. Clare Catholic Church, 236 S. Beach Blvd, Waveland, MS, with visitation from 10am-12pm. Burial to follow at Waveland Cemetery, Waveland, MS.   The family would like to invite everyone for a reception after the burial at St. Clare Catholic Church for food and fellowship.
