Frederick William Rothwell Jr.

Frederick William Rothwell Jr., 91, of Kiln, Mississippi, passed away on June 10, 2026. Frederick was born on February 28, 1935, in San Diego, CA, to Frederick and Mildred Rothwell. He honorable served his country in the U.S. Armed Forces, six years in the Marines and three years in the Air Force. Frederick was a hard worker, both in his career in the U.S. Armed Forces, and as a mechanic. He also loved to tinker around the house and the yard. But his real passion was for riding his Harley Davidson, which will proudly be kept in the family.

Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Mildred Rothwell; son, Larry Rothwell; grandson, Jamie Rothwell; brother, Franklin; and two sisters, Dorothy and Noel. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Dorothy Rothwell; four sons, Marty Tate (Jody), Frederick Rothwell III (Ramona), Kenneth Rothwell (Nora), and Randy Rothwell (Janice); daughter, Deborah Johnson (Mark); step-daughters, Terri Bucher (Steve) and Tammy Cortez (John); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley; and brothers, Danny and Dickie.

Services will take place at the Biloxi National Cemetery, 400 Veterans Ave., Biloxi, MS 39531, on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
