Frances Marie Cantu

Frances Marie Broussard Cantu, age 67, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Frances was born in New Orleans LA and move to Bay St. Louis, MS in her 20's with her husband and children.

Frances was a stay-at-home mom until her divorce, when she then worked as a caregiver and school kitchen assistant. She retired in 2023 and devoted her time to her grandkids.

Frances was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She would fight for her family no matter if they were right or wrong. She had the biggest heart and the kindest of souls. She was a devout Christian and never lost her faith no matter how hard times got.

Frances will be reuniting with her parents, Cleamace Rita Faul and Joseph Larry Broussard; and her siblings, William Broussard, Larry Broussard, and Betty Broussard.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Linda Strahan, Brittany Cantu, and Nieves Cantu; her sister, Judy Boudreaux; her grandchildren, Dillion Strahan, Chevy Benard, and Marci Arrowsmith; and her ex-husband,Bruce Cantu.

Services will be Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Edmund Fahey Funeral Home, 110 S. Necaise Ave., Bay St Louis, MS. Public visitation is 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a service at 12:00 p.m.
