Florence Stiglet Mitchell, 89, of Waveland, MS, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Florence was born on September 28, 1934 to John and Lily Stiglet. She was a lifelong member of Saint Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, Mississippi.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lily Stiglet; husband, Andrew Thomas Mitchell; great-grandson, Everett Ray Hoda; two brothers, Harold Stiglet and Henry Stiglet; and cousins, Audrey Elrod, Norma Tubbs, Patsy Smith, Betty Collier, Henry Favre, Charles Favre, Johnny Favre, and Cheryl Necaise.
She is survived by five children, Andrew Mitchell (Melanie), Ricky Mitchell (Gail), Pam McGill (Kenny), Sandra Hoda, and Donna Lyons (John); eleven grandchildren, Drew, Alicia, Amanda, Becky, TJ, Nichole, Alissa, Ashley, Justin, Lindsey, and Allison; and great-grandchildren, Cole, Chase, Makaylah, Makenna, Ryder, Reagan, Bryson, Marco, Eli, David, Drake, Mckinley, Emerie, Eleanor, and Christian.
Funeral Services will be held at Saint Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, Mississippi on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. Visitation from 10:00 a.m. till 12:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Followed by burial in Saint Mary Cemetery in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi.
