Evelyn Schloegel Sick Leineweber, 92, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away peacefully on her birthday, Wednesday, March 22, 2023.
She was a member of VFW Post 3253, where she served as the Treasurer for many years. She loved traveling, dancing, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alton C. Sick Sr.; second husband, Arthur P. Leineweber Jr.; parents, Eugene Schloegel and Dorothy Friddle; and brother, Eugene Schloegel, Jr.
She is survived by her two children, Deborah Adams (Ken) and Alton "Clay" Sick, Jr. (Nancy); six grandchildren, Tiffany (Blake), Daniel (Beth), Sarah (Jeremy), Jason, Kyle, and Josh; seven great-grandchildren, Elle, Clara, Brittany, Christian, Olivia, Kemper, and Joby; and numerous step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.
Due to flower limitations at the cemetery, the family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS at 1:30 p.m. followed by interment.
