Eva Charlotte Reier

Eva Charlotte Reier, 82, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024 in Gulfport, MS.

Eva was born in Berlin Germany and became an American citizen on December 23, 1969. Eva and Joe moved to Mississippi in 1978 where they worked for 26 years as caretaker and housekeeper in Pass Christian, MS.

Eva enjoyed being home with her husband, cooking especially during the holidays, spending time with her dogs and cats, and spending time in her yard with all of GOD's beautiful creatures.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Reier; parents, Presser Erich Skrzypczak & Ruth Raabe Skrzypczak and numerous fur babies.

She is survived by her best friends, JoAnn Denton, Jeb Stuart, Terry Walker, Joey & Michelle Denton, Kendra Krauter, Anna Katherine Adams and Blake Stuart; fur babies, Cuddles, Tiger, and Roameo; four sister-in-laws, Dorothy Jackson, Mary (Michael) White, Susan (James) Bergeron, and Ann Reier; three brother-in-laws, Thomas (Kathy) Reier, Peter (Mara) Reier, and John (Merl) Reier. 

A special thank you to the staff of St. Joseph Hospice, Amada Senior Care, and Mississippi Home Care for the wonderful care they provided to Eva.
