Eugene Sprouse

Eugene Sprouse, 67, of Waveland, Mississippi, passed away on November 25, 2023.

 

Eugene Sprouse was an outstanding member of the community and was loved by all. He worked as a tire mechanic for Good Year for thirty years. His favorite pastime was riding around the city playing Pokémon and spending valuable time with his family. He was an outstanding father to his children and loved his wife tremendously. He was his daughter's best friend and his sons looked up to him and cared for him deeply.. He was an excellent role model to his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. The family shares fond memories of him taking them fishing on Sundays, trips to the casino, and taking family vacations to Disney World, West Virginia, and the Grand Canyon.

 

Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Carrie Sprouse; and two brothers, Roger and Kenny Sprouse.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Patricia Sprouse; four children, Betty Harris, Eugene II (Dana), Amanda, and Christopher; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four siblings, Walt (Joyce), Butch (Hope), Patty, and Barbera (Bill); and numerous nieces and nephews.
