Heaven gained the sweetest Angel on Sunday, July 9, 2023 when Eugene “Gaga” Breazeale, Sr. passed away at his daughter’s home surrounded by his children. Those who knew and loved him always called him Gaga. He is now happily reunited with his loving wife of 65 years whom he had missed terribly.
He was born on January 16, 1933 to Lena and Ervin Bradley Breazeale in Yazoo City, MS.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Carver Breazeale; and son-in-law, Ronnie Johnson.
Gaga is survived by his three children, Sharon (Danny) Minchew, Phyllis Johnson, and Eugene Bradley ‘Bubbie’ (Ruth) Breazeale, Jr.; two sisters, Barbara Logan and Christine (Jimmy) Cox; one brother, Frank Breazeale; six grandchildren, Kristian (Karyn) Minchew of Bend, OR., KeriAnn (Ryan) Bozant of Kiln, Dustin (Lauren) Johnson of Diamondhead, Kyle Johnson of Starkville, MS, Bradley (Braihley) Breazeale, and Kimberly (Robert Kody) Kellar of Kiln; and nine great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was happiest when working on a dozer or dragline clearing land and had a great reputation for his work ethic.
