Elizabeth "Liz" Maillho Buoch

Elizabeth "Liz" Maillho Buoch born on June 22, 1960 to Milton and Mathilda Maillho, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2026.

Liz was a daughter, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother and friend who mattered deeply to those that loved her. She was so proud of her grandchildren, always taking pictures and showing them off. She loved Mardi Gras, dancing, fishing, shopping and the New Orleans Saints!

Liz worked at the Quality Inn in Slidell, LA for many years and took great pride in her job and valued the friendships it brought her. Her friends at work became her family and she loved them very much!

Those who knew her saw a woman who possessed a caring soul and an unforgettable character. She was known for her honesty and her vibrant personality. Liz left a lasting impression on anyone she met. Her memory will live on in the stories we can all share, the lessons she taught, and the love she left behind.

She is survived by her loving mother; Mathilda Maillho, her daughter; Kelly Sullivan (Sean), her two sons; Christopher Coffelt (Amanda) and Matthew Coffelt (Laura), her granchildren; James, Ashton, Cooper, Tillie, Piper, Madelyn and Elliot; and her companion Jerry Babineaux.

She is proceeded in death by her father; Milton Maillho, her two brothers; Milton Maillho Jr. and Michael Maillho Sr., and her husband; Rainy Buoch.

May she now rest in heaven, free from the burdens she carried and may her memory remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 6, 2026, at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay Saint Louis, MS at 2:00pm with a visitation prior from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay Saint Louis, MS.
