Edwinna Stewart "Noonie" Gardner

Edwinna Stewart "Noonie" Gardner, 76, of Kiln, MS passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 in Kiln, MS.

Mrs. Stewart was a member of First Baptist Church in Kiln, MS.

She enjoyed music, playing the organ, fishing, yard sales, gardening, and cooking. She was a wonderful and loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend who will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Gardner; parents, Alfred, and Carrie Lee Stewart; brothers, Edward, Willie B., and Clarence Stewart; and two sisters, Stella Stewart, and Linda D. Thomas.

She is survived by her three sons, Darren Gardner (Mary), Reginald L. Gardner, and Sherman Gardner (Rose); daughter, Carolyn Gardner; six siblings, Helen Montgomery (Freddie), Alvin Stewart, Edith Stewart, Dr. Barbara Coatney (George), Anita Brewster, and Michael Stewart; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces, and great-nephews and friends.

The family would like to express their gratitude and give a special thank you to the Kiln Community, Dolly's Quick Stop Staff, Postal Clerk Car/Tart, Kiln Pharmacy Staff (Chris Sheila & Others), Mabel Haas, First Responders, and Hancock County Law Enforcement Personnel.

Services will be held at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 20, 2023. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Kiln Cemetery in Kiln, MS.
