Edmond F. Fahey, III of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away Monday, March 4, 2013 in Bay St. Louis after a brief illness.

Edmond was a lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis, a devoted Catholic and a graduate of St. Stanislaus and Tulane University. After school he worked at D.H. Holmes Travel Agency in New Orleans, LA. After moving back to the coast he became a partner in Travel Affiliates Travel Agency. Travel was one of his passions and he was a world traveler. He then fulfilled his life long dream of continuing the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home that had served the MS Gulf Coast by the Fahey Family for 3 generations. He was a member of Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, OGR, NSM, NFDA, Bay-Waveland Yacht Club, Great Southern Club, Waveland Civic Association, Lions Club and St Stanislaus Alumni.

Edmond is preceded in death by his father, Edmond F. Fahey, Jr.; grandparents, Rita & Joseph Tognotti; Irma & Edmond F. Fahey, Sr.; aunt and uncle, Irma & George diBenedetto, Great uncle, Bishop Leo Fahey.

He is survived by his loving mother, Princess T. Fahey of Bay St. Louis, MS; his loving and loyal funeral home family, Jeanne Sampognaro, Brent Adkins, Bill Donaldson, Bryan Malone, Malcom Gibson, Louise Beal, Mary Coster and Tommy Carver; his girl friend, Linda Cool, her son, Tommy Cool, his children Tory Cool, Savannah Cool & Peyton Cool. aunt, Dorothy diBenedetto, cousins, Fahey House, Leo diBenedetto, Maria Wolfe, George diBenedetto, Lisa diBenedetto, Patricia diBenedetto, Anna Caffarel, Diane Landry, Candy Strahan & her siblings.

Visitation will be Friday, March 8, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm at St. Stanislaus Brother Peter Memorial Gym in Bay St. Louis, MS. On Saturday, March 9, 2013, the visitation will be at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm with a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 pm.

Intombment will follow in Edmonds Cemetery, Gulf Cast Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis, MS.

In lieu of flowers, Edmond's love for children, the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children Research, 332 North Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105 in his name.

With the unfortunate passing of Edmond Fahey, the funeral home will be carrying out his wishes For Business As Usual.

Note: Edmond Francis Fahey III is actually buried at St. Mary's cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS and not at Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
