Waveland, MS
Donald Ray Schielder, 76, of Waveland, MS passed away peacefully in his home Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Don served in the United States Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. He received a Purple Heart while serving his country in Vietnam.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph E. Schielder; mother, Myrtle Moon; two brothers, Joseph and Thomas Schielder; and step-daughter, Traci Lee Applegarth.
Survived by his wife, Margaret Letts Schielder; step-daughter, Brandi Lee; brother, Patrick “Pat” Schielder; two sisters, Michelle “Shelly” Reames and Cheryl Schielder; and five grandchildren, Bryant, Devon, Talin, Alyssia, and Isabella.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 13, 2023 at 2:30 pm with Military Honors at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS.
