Dennis Wayne Whittington, born on November 24, 1951, in Monroe, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, in Diamondhead, Mississippi. Dennis was a beloved Father, Husband, Brother and a respected member of his community. He was the owner of Dyna-Flow and retired with pride after years of hard work.
Dennis graduated from Bossier High School in Bossier City, Louisiana. Throughout his life, he enjoyed many hobbies such as hunting, fishing, gambling, and most importantly, spending time with his family. These activities brought him joy and allowed him to create cherished memories with those he loved.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Susan Whittington, and his son Daniel and wife Kyle Whittington, his daughter Brittany Triscritti, and daughter of Susan, Kim and husband Deric Reeves. He was a proud grandfather to Logan and wife Kelli Whittington, Blake Whittington, Kaylee Whittington, Tyler and husband Adam Schievelbein, Jaeden Reeves, and Kolbie Reeves. His family grew even larger with great-grandchildren Brenleigh Whittington, Christopher Schievelbein, and Ada Schievelbein. Dennis also leaves behind his siblings Linda and husband Wayne Villemarette, Karen Johnston, Glen and wife Doris Whittington and lastly his pet, Bubba.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marjorie and Oddis Whittington, and his brother James Whittington.
A visitation will be held on April 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service 1:00 PM at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home, located at 110 S. Necaise Avenue, Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. The family welcomes all who wish to come and remember Dennis’s life.
Dennis Wayne Whittington will be fondly remembered for his kindness, strong work ethic, and love of family. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
