David Arthur Beckner, 74, of Diamondhead, Mississippi, went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2026, at his home.
David was born in El Dorado, Kansas, and carried his Midwestern roots with him throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Beckner, and his mother, Bea Pryor.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rita; his children, Breck Beckner, Corbin (Maguy) Blaize, and Mallory (Brennan) Stieffel; his cherished grandchildren, Tristan, Ally, Mackenzie, Kamryn, Emersyn, Rhett, Leo, Morgan, Charlotte, and Rogan. He is also survived by his sister, Mary (Mike) Maloney; nieces, Wendy (Matt) McAdoo, Willow (Eddie) Dean, and Amy (Hank) Toney, as well as four great-nephews and one great-niece.
David loved Jesus, his family, his friends, and his church deeply. He found joy on the golf course, on the water fishing, in the fields hunting, and especially in the companionship of his dog, Nola. More than anything, David had a way of making everyone feel seen and special. He would do anything for anyone, and his kindness left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Per his wishes, a private celebration of life will be held for his family in Mississippi and there will also be an additional celebration in Kansas at a later date.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of David Arthur Beckner.
