Charles Alexander Watzke III

Charles Alexander Watzke III, known as "Charlie" to his friends and "Colonel" by his family, 70, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 in Bay Saint Louis, MS.

Charlie was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. He worked as a Projectionist in the Film Industry and was a member of the Local No. 293 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees in New Orleans, LA until they disbanded. He loved motorbikes and gathering with friends.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Jr. and Lois Watzke; and his sister, Charlene Christensen.

He is survived by four children, Charles Watzke IV (Penny), Holly Burton (Kelly), Nicolas Watzke, and Shannon Burgess; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charlie will be interred in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay Saint Louis at a later date.
