Charles Carl Tartavoulle, 87, of Baton Rouge, LA passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022 in Baton Rouge, LA.
Charles was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, LA.
He was born in Bay St. Louis, MS. He graduated from Bay St. Louis High School and was enlisted in the United States Air Force.
Charles was a dedicated Science Teacher for over 35 years with the St. Bernard Parish School System. He was actively involved with the St. Bernard Parish Community.
He loved fishing and spending time with his family.
Charles was a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Stella Tartavoulle; three sisters, Norma Brady, Barbara Redding and Brenda Scelson.
He is survived by his wonderful and loving wife of 57 years, Gwen Ory Tartavoulle; son, Todd Tartavoulle; daughter, Shannon (Pete) Eubanks and grandchildren, Madison & Parker Eubanks.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2022 at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Cedar Rest Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
