Bryan Patrick Pittari, known as "Poppy", by his grandchildren passed away Friday, September 27, 2024 at the age of 69 in Slidell, Louisiana.

Born in New Orleans, Bryan graduated from Delasalle High School. He was trained at the Commercial Diving Center in California as a deep sea diver and welder. He began is career at Taylor Diving and Salvage and travelled the world working different job assignments. After twenty years, decided to change his career path and he became a Registered Nurse and worked in the ER and ICU for 24 years. Recently retired, Bryan loved to spend his time fishing and playing pool with friends. He had a warm personality and truly cared for everyone he met, often engaging in long conversations and sharing many stories.

He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Leo Pittari, his mother, Bobbie Lee Jackson, and two sisters, Cynthia Bradford and Janet Pittari. 

He is survived by his daughter, Antonia "Tonie" Pittari Fisher, and her husband, Michael Andrew; as well as his grandchildren, Luke Michael and Louise Marie Fisher.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m.
